I’m Shirley, mum to a spirited toddler, living in Naarm (Melbourne), and a passionate believer in the magic of light, colour, and storytelling through photography.
After years of working across education, health, and community development—helping shape meaningful projects and connecting with diverse communities—I’ve finally taken the leap into making my long-standing love for photography my career.
As the person always asked to capture moments at gatherings, I’ve been honing my craft since 2010, learning through weddings, family sessions, and special events. Over time, my style has evolved, and my confidence has grown, leading me here—to Bright Meadow.
From intimate maternity shoots and joyful birthday celebrations, to product photography and new business launches, I love working with people to preserve memories that matter. As a mum, I understand how fleeting time is—how the days may feel long, but the years pass far too quickly.
My goal is to capture your unique story, in all its beautifully unfiltered and authentic way.
